Pretty bad when your own Son turns on you!

Dan has been racking up some more miles on his car. Last night we took it for a little drive to go out an eat dinner. We had a little running issue a couple of days ago, thought it was vapor lock but found the coil had fried.....oil was seeping out of it. Would run for a while but when it heated up it would quit. Threw on a spare coil we had in the shop and problem went away. New one is on it's way from Summit and we are mounting it in a cooler spot on the front of the engine.

Dan also is not nuts about how loud the car is, especially inside the car with the top up. He is going to work on the baffles some more tonight and modify them with more diffuser rings. There are just some new car teething problems that we needed to sort through, every car has them when you first get them on the road. We were able to get the timing set correctly last night and it dropped the temp from 190-200 down to 170 at idle.

But the major items are fine. The car goes right down the road, no goofy handling issues from the 16 inch bias plies, and the rest of the car does what it is supposed to do. We're pretty surprised at that because we usually have some suspension tuning to do to get them right.

Every night Dan has been coming home from work and saying "Let's take my car for a little spin!" Thanks everyone for the nice words.

    Don
