Calif is still higher then we are here in Florida.
But the problem is I only run Prem in all my cars.
Fill up when it's cool out not when it's hot.
Gas expands just like trany fluid, you get more for
your money when the gas is cool.
When I was hauling fuel we had stations that told us to fill their tanks all the way to the top so they would not run out of fuel before their next load would come in. Then the next day we would have the station call and ask what we did because they would have gas running down the street. Well they didn't sell any gas before the ground warmed up and the fuel expanded and came up out of the tanks and would run down the street.
Now the install Butterfly's in the tanks which will only allow you to fill them 90% so that does not happen. There are ways to still fill them up if you know what your doing but if it comes out of the ground now it's on the driver for by passing the safety, and he will have big problems, the EPA is involved in everything now so it could be expessive for him.
