That's not the only case Robin.
Police have placed a curfew on the place after arresting six of these low-lifes for looting in the damaged areas.
There's injured and dead lying in these buildings and these pond-scum are stealing from them.
They totally disgust me.

Yeah,6.30 curfew,and Singaporean soldiers,our own Navy??and army helping the police..We have loaned our caravan to a friend for his brother in law to sleep in for a week or two,cos he has no where else to go..His house is leaning like a drunken bum,,whats left of it,anyway..
Thieves..Lets hope the court system gives em what they really deserve..

"CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – Hopes faded of finding more survivors Thursday in the collapsed downtown towers of New Zealand's quake-shattered Christchurch, as officials said the death toll rose to 98 with grave fears for many of the 226 missing.
Police said up to 120 bodies may still lie trapped in the tangled concrete and steel that was the Canterbury Television or CTV building, where dozens of students from Japan, Thailand, China and other Asian countries were believed buried when an English-language school collapsed along with other offices.
