The efforts of the international community have been awesome, (thanks to you all) as has the help coming in from all over New Zealand. We are not alone in our suffering.
I dont want to sound like Im making light of anything, but certainly having an earthquake in a developed nation with the USA as a friend, and Australia as our brothers is a good idea.
I can not imagine how tough it is for the survivors in Haiti......

Good morning to all my friends,or maybe that should be good evening/night.
As Todd has already mentioned and both Lifestylz (Clive) and Johnboy supported I would really like to thank everybody for their support in not only the rescue personel and equipment that your countries have speedily send out to us but also for your prayers and good wishers. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.
It is the 1st of March today(5.00am) so at 12.51pm we as a united nation will be stopping for 2 minutes silence in memory of those lost 7 days ago in that shocking earthquake.
Melanie, my ex-wife is sadly still listed agmonst the missing so I would still thankyou for your prayers please.
I'm gone to try getting involved on here again to take my mind off the depressing news. On a positive,I have my pre-op tests and talk with the surgery team on the 22nd of March, so at long last we have action on that front.
Well guys, sorry but you are stuck with me again.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Thankyou Oldmanb for your respect and too everybody else that has prayed for all those lost or missing, I really appreciated all your blessings. I will attempt to download a photo of the building that my ex-wife died in, so that one can see how destructive the quake was.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Whiplash, I am so sorry to hear this news. My family's prayers go out for you and your family and friends. I wish I could say something to help in times like this, but I don't know of anything to say that would help.

Well sadly it is now officially recovery program as any chance of rescue has now passed.
No-one has been found alive since Wednesday last week.
My condolences go out to all those who have missing people yet to be recovered/found.
Official death toll is now 161 and expected to be around the 220 mark finally.Last edited by LIFESTYLZ; 03-02-2011 at 10:08 PM.

No words come to me, Whip.
You are a good man and we all feel your sorrow for your loss. May she and all the others who were victims rest in peace.
