The first thing you learn with oh&s emergency response is to only advance when it is safe to do so. No doubt it will be a rather large investigation when it finally comes time to do so.

Spike,,there were a couple or three of your countrymen down that hole too,,and a South African,and and an Englishman or two.Its a pretty devastating thing to happen in any country,especially in a small community like the Westcoasters have..Just sad,,,

Seems with the fires raging in the mine now, it will be practically impossible to recover any of the 29 workers. A huge blow to family and friends. But they are still hanging onto a glimmer of hope, as we all are. Our prayers are with them.
