Both of those days are etched in my memory..........9-11 and the day JFK was assassinated. On the morning of 9-11 I was watching the today show and they broke in to report that a small plane had hit one of the towers. They then went to the street and you could see the tower burning. I told my GF, who was getting ready to leave for work about it, and a few minutes later as she was walking to her car I had to go out on the porch and tell her ANOTHER plane had just hit the second tower.
When I got to work that morning I remember everyone being in shock and standing around a tv. I can't ever remember being that angry and wanting us to turn the entire mid east into a parking lot with some of our nukes. If they would have let me push the buttons that morning I would have done it without hesitation.
That morning changed so much about the world, and America in particular.
