    I bet you are Barb.
What motor did you have in there before?
Did you put some new springs in or are they the same?
I am not sure if you have this info already, but here is a site below.

would you consider putting your distributor and coil in a package and sending it to me to fix for you??? Even if you get the hei you would then have the points for a spare.

kurt i had a 350 edelbrock putting out about 410 hp. they guy that i got the car from was sitting it up to race. when i put in the 472 there was not difference in the weight on the springs. jerry i would send you the old coil system but i threw it away when i cleaned the garage up from all the junk of the swap. wish now that i had kept it.

Barb, I was surfin' on ebay and found this HEI. This is a re-listing, as he had no bids on it the first time around. You should be able to get this unit for under 50 bucks delivered to your door. Go to ebay and enter item # 300492543169.

Here's another one on ebay that says it was pulled from a 425 and will fit a 500. I'm uncertain whether or not that's true, but if it is, then you could own this one for less than 40 bucks delivered to your door. Go to ebay and enter item #160505800457.
