    F100 CENTRAL....Just venting,

     



    Ordered front disk brake kit & master/booster kit for customers 55 F100 on 08/16/2010. Parts finally showed up on 08/24/2010 BUT kit was missing 1 caliper mounting bolt & bushing,no biggey, then I discover that they forgot to send the kit for the master/booster that allows you to use the stock clutch setup.
    I called them and explained the situation.After they called me back they said they would send it out regular freight ????? I ask about overnight and they tell me that would be $40 bucks ???????????????? They then said they would send it 2 day for free ...............ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Guess I'm stuck till Monday as I know good and well that it won't arrive on Friday with enough time for me to finish it. Looks like a lift will be tied up for an extra 4 days and I'll have to listen to a customer that wants his truck back. Thanks folks @ F100 Central. seems to me you need some better control on your order process.
    Oh just to let you know my order invoice shows that I did order and pay the extra $60 bucks for the standard trans kit.
    Guess I now know better than to order from them again.

    That's what separates companies with so-so customer service policies and those that will do whatever it takes to make things right, especially if it is THEIR SCREWUP. The older I get the more willing I am to let companies know if I am pleased or displeased.........they need to know.
