Yep, it must be VERY lonely up there in Maple Valley Washington in the Winter. I don't even want to think about how and where Bob finds some of that stuff. Some of it seems to be stuff that has never been seen by any human before...............hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Oh...............you know her too Robin..............Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Ok, now that makes me, Ken, Steve, Whiplash, and now Robin! We're gonna have to get more T shirts printed if this Take a Shot at Bob Club keeps growing. Bob has a way of recruiting members better than we ever could.

I wish I had a catalogue of photos like Uncle Bob to use of past girlfriends etc..I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

As usual - by the time I'm getting to posting, the thread has turned.
I'm here to learn - so I read a lot.
Found myself researching Micah 6:8 - didn't even know there was a Book of Micah!
I like the cam discussions most - but find they are very sensitive . . .
One day I'll figure out how to determine/engineer squish and quench.
I usually get solid advice, but find a 'conversation' intended to advance understanding gets lost.
Now - here's a GOAT ya gotta love-

Hey Don, ive been working alot and trying to stay off the computer. I kind of hit a wall with the car projects, i think i kinda got burned out a little so ive been focusing more on work and family some. I still have all my cars and been collecting parts here and there, so when i get the urge to start again ill be ready.
I might try to make it down that way in october, i havnt been to the drags yet, but would like too! Maybe ill get to turkey run this year since i skipped it last year. I was on a business trip last month down your way in St Pete and thought about you guys, but looking at the map i realized how much further down the coast you guys are.
Ive been snooping from time to time trying to keep up on your build threads, glad to see the boy is getting close, cant wait to see it in daytona!

Well, I come here almost every day and read what you guys have to say-I don't have much to share, and through other Forums I've learned that sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut-there's always so much drama on the 'Net.
It seems that when I have the ability to help that I've already been beat to the punch, so I read and learn-this Forum (and others) have expanded my knowledge expotentially, and I'm very thankful for that-I've learned more in eight Years in Forums than I had learned before in fifty years-it's been great, although busted knuckles learning is good too (just not as fast).
I keep pluggin' away on my project, and it's slowly getting closer-I will say that although it may seem that some Threads don't get tons of responses that many of us (I'm raising my hand here ) learn from those short discussions-Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
