Hi Don---How nice to hear from you!!! Although I have seen one March where the weather was warm enough to play "Hotrod" in the last week or so, thats one March out of the last 63. Most years we have snow right up untill the end of the first week in April before the weather starts to warm up. Work does seem to be picking up some, I have been busy since Christmas. I subscribe to about 3 different job finding services on the internet, and during the last 6 months of 2009 I didn't see one single add for engineer, design engineer, mechanical technologist-----nothing. Now since the year has turned over, I am seeing more and more adds every week being posted for jobs in my field. I don't get any work myself from these job adds, as they are all posted by companies seeking permanent employees, however it serves as a good indicator of what is happening in the general economy "out there". Can it be that we are finally coming out the other side of this horrible economic slump???? I sure hope so.----Brian

I'm starting to see some "slight" movement in our business too. We had a horrible December and early January, but the last week we have gotten in quite a few boats to fix. This lousy weather hasn't helped either, but it's finally up into the high 70's during the day again so maybe people will start using, and breaking, their boats.

Glad to see your work has improved some too. When someone with your talents and work history is slow you know things aren't good.

    Don
