    Back when I was just starting out in the hobby seriously w a low production model car
    (1800 built) an old timer told me -"Rare means it was not popular when new and probably will not be at resale, If you like it, keep it and do it as YOU like it. Just don't plan on retiring at resale" My experiance since has proven that true. The exception I have found would be models that were not, but now are popular such as your wagon or ultra luxury or HP cars that few of us could afford when young (think hemi darts , Ford GT's, Cobra AC or L88 Stingrays). Nice start!
