Firebirdclone, you should not post your road rage problems with a gun, in a non gun type forum. Posts like this in gun related forums would get you roasted, especially the part about a "badge", I know of no badges issured to CCW permit holders. You and I know the only reason to pull a weapon. If you were in a vehicle and could leave the scene, you did not have justification to pull your weapon. Had you shot someone from your car, with them in another vehicle, you would be typing in prison now. Why don't you ask the moderators to delete this thread nothing good can come of it.

I am very pro-gun but.....it's an irresponsible attitude that will get our gun rights taken away...and all it will take is a small change in public attitude.

Concealed carry pemits should be shown to two classes of persons; appropriate law enforcement persons who ASK to see them and to the person at the counter when you buy a gun. Nobody else should see the permit; waving it around will certainly help most people develop an anti-gunner attitude.

Here in Arizona, we just had a case of a guy who was "cut off" by a speeder....the guy pulled the speeder over and it was a cop on his way home. Impersonating an officer is a crime in most states and waving a fake badge, a badge-looking device, etc is included in that crime definition. This guy in Arizona now has charges filed against him.

I may carry a gun but I do so with the intent that most people do not know that I carry...flaunting it will only provoke a fight...and nobody ever wins in a fight anymore.
