Sorry to keep everyone wondering, we went to the shop after meeting with the guy today and just got home. Bottom line, I passed on the Buick. It was way rougher than he said, and had quite a bit of rust. The car is savable, but not without a lot of metal work. Funny how he thought it was so rustfree.
Anyway, here are some pictures I took. I'll have to post them in several posts since you can only put 5 in each one. Richard, if you are still interested, PM me and I'll give you the guys name and phone number. Someone can save it, but it isn't something I want to get involved with right now.
Thanks for everyone's input and suggestions.

Good decision to pass Don.... especially at any kind of premium price... Looks like it would require lots of hours of patch panel time!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

That's a shame that the car turned out to be in such sad shape. I thought you were finally going to get a nice old car to drive without getting rain on your head and your seat filled like a wading pool.
From the looks of the Buick that might not have been the case.

Just curious, since you're not getting it......what was his ballpark price??Trust everyone once. Just be cautious of what may be lost.

He was asking $ 2500.00. If it was as clean as he described I wasn't even going to counter offer, didn't want to make him mad and maybe lose out altogether. Now, I think he might be open to taking less.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
