I know the Overhaulin cars are going to be at the Wings Wheels and Rotors show in Los Alametos (sp) So. Cal. next Sun.
I'll pm you an email address of someone that had their car done on Overhaulin and maybe she can point you in the right direction

MM64, thanks for that link........I'll try it. Bobby, yep, I keep waiting for someone to "surprise" me too.

I bet some of the ones we see on there have set it up with the Wife to get their car done for them, some just look too phony. But there is no question in my mind this guy is the real deal........he had nothing to gain by telling me about his Dad other than we were just shooting the breeze. I just thought it would be great if Chip or one of his people heard about this story. The neat part is that the Dad has had this car for about 48 years, and it has been a custom all that time, but has fallen into disrepair and he doesn't have the money (nor does the Son) to fix it up.

We'll see what happens, I believe good things happen to good people sometimes.

I think kenny d knows him, and he'll be here in Vegas in a couple weeks, touch base with him, or PM me the info and if I run across him at SEMA I'll put the pitch on him.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

That's terrific, Bob. I don't even know this guy's name, but I know he manages a local store, so I could call and find out all the info. I'll do that tomorrow.

I realize this is kind of a shot in the dark deal, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Bobby, the guy kept telling me details of how they wanted to buy his Dads Merc for that Stallone movie where they used a Merc. (I forget the name) But he said when his Dad found out they were going to wreck it he said no way.

Thanks for all the input guys.

 Don

Don i believe in the goods things to . Hope this happens for him sounds like a well deserving man and a great car to do it with also . To have a son with this much pride for his father is a blessing . You know that part your sons are terrific now but remember where you tools went LOL just kidding there . This would be a challenge for the Foose clan not a Mustang , Chevelle or Vette to be done .
