Two possibilities exist:
Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying.

Don't know where to begin. Most had to do with cars and speed, but there were a few really dumb ones that had to do with boats, water and swimming.
And one big one that had to do with a Cessna 182, a trip to Burlington NC with two friends, neither of which had pilot licenses.
At times it was a both fun and scary, and I wouldn't do it again. That trip really brought home the saying that "any landing you can walk away from is a good landing".
Lucky to have lived as long as I have.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

When I was putting myself through junior college at age 23....I worked a full time job....and a part time job on top of that. Needless to say....there were times I shouldnt have been driving. Tried to re-inact my favorite episode of Dukes of Hazzard on the way to school one morning. Woke up in the rear seat of the Grand National out in the middle of a field. Then drove 15 miles to the college, with a hole in the fuel tank. I dropped the 2nd job.
And one more: Does this have to be in the past? I had just put a turbo on the little RX and was going through town (sober!) at 2am on New Years eve a couple years ago. Got to a 4 way and thought I'd lite up the tires. Less than 10' (yes...10') away a policeman flipped on his lights. Even more embarrassing than my age was the fact that I grew up with him.
