crispy Hemi question
Night before last my nephew lost his Chrylser. I think it was an 06 or 07. He basically lost control on a gravel road and pegged a tree, then it burned up.
He says it was still running after the crash and the air bags had popped He did shut it off but he couldn't get the hood open and saw sparks and stuff then the fire started small. He was able to disconnect the battery but it was too late by then.
Is it right that it could still be running after the air bags deployed? Or after an impact? I know of Ford's inertia switch, not familiar at all with Chryslers but that just seems wrong, I mean this car was so over engineered with skid control and idiot proof stuff you couldn't even do a broadie with it but yet the engine doesn't even die and the fuel system stays pressured up after a crash???
One more reason to drive old cars.

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
Where is everybody?
