I just got back from a Local Carshow that I took my '65 American to. I was the only AMC in the event.. that's no supprise as the AMO national event is in Kingston Ontario, Canada this weekend.. anyway There were just a little over 200 cars, but they came from all over, and of course the locals. Closest thing to an AMC besides mine, was a '47 Hudson Super Six. I did forget my camera but used my cell phone for pics, now I just gotta figure out how to get them off my phone.

MATT see if this is any help. It was part of a tech email subscription that I get.

The least labor-intensive way to rescue your pictures from being trapped on your phone is to send them to an e-mail address in a multimedia message. But as you know, this costs money, so you'll be pleased to hear there are alternatives.

If your phone accepts a memory card, you can save your pictures to the card, then use the card to transfer the images. Most cell phones use smaller memory cards in a Micro SD or Mini SD card format, so if you don't have an adapter, the cards won't fit in most readers. If you don't have a memory card slot, you can use Bluetooth or an infrared port to send shots to another capable device. But be wary, as Verizon blocks some Bluetooth transfers on its phones. Still another method is to use a USB cable that connects your cell phone with your computer. Not all phones have USB capability, so check to see if yours does. Also, USB transfers on some phones require software from the carrier or the manufacturer. Sprint, however, includes PictBridge software on its newer camera phones, such as the Samsung MM-A900, which enables you to send photos directly to a photo printer.

If your phone doesn't come with any of the features, don't despair, as you're not out of luck. A final method is to invest in cell phone-syncing software. Although these products require an initial investment, it's not an ongoing one, and you'll be able to not only transfer photos but also sync your calendar, your contacts list, and your messages.

My phone is a base model Samsung A-100 I think, and I'll have to email them to myself. but I can only put phone numbers in the send box, havn't figured out how to switch it yet

I don't think it's a Samsung A-100, the specs say no camera on that model.....

send them to another phone and then e-mail them..

I was just looking on the internet for how to input email addy's and ppl say push and hold # until symbols appear, but it does not work on my phone. so I will have to do that.. my dad will probably do it for me

Your right.. I just pulled the back cover off and checked. it's a A-127 with no email capabilities.. Discontinued now

I'd say that is a base model phone No email, no pc sync, but it does have MMS. You could send an MMS message containing the photos to a friend with an email capable phone who could then email them to you

Yup it is. I didn't realise it would be that complex getting them off the phone... I have At&T go phone, with the plan. this the better of the 2 phones I could get a discount on, from my local At&T store

Digital cameras are cheap, they even have digital single use cameras now. Go buy a few and throw one in each of your cars so you will always have one when you need it. Of course, you will still have to remember to get a replacement when ever you fill one up with pix for us.

I actully have a second cheapo digital camera, havn't a clue on where I put it tho . it's from a company called Digital Innovations and I paid $40 for it a couple years ago.. 2.1 Mp. my good digital camera is a HP Photosmart 620. it's like 5 years old now, and a brick compared to new cameras but it still takes great pictures and it's not so small that I struggle to keep it steady. it's also 2.1 MP

I did get pictures, I'll have them as soon as I can get them emailed to me.. my phones incapabilaties are slowing the prosess down, but I'll have them as soon as I can... Modern technology u kno

Matt, on my Nokia cell phone it has the picture taken function plus video. My wife got the phone and I thought everything would be with it to put the pictures in the computer but it wasn’t. We did not get the Internet function, as everything is more money for the monthly expense. I had to buy an additional cable for $50 and go to Nokia’s site to download the software. Once you install it, it’s great I take a lot of pictures with it when I don’t have the digital camera, just doesn’t have the quality of the digital camera.

Most cell phone cameras are 640X480 resoloution.. it costs me 25 cents per multi media message to send photos and almost $1 per minuite of internet... I tried to search this site with it 1 day and it did work, until I scrolled 1/2 way down the page and it said " out of memory " and kicked me off the site.. when the screen came up to tell me how much I used, I used almost $2 and I was on a little over 2 mins I think... I have AT&T's go phone plan, you pay for your minuites b4 you use them. It's automaticly taken off of a credit card each month.. I can use anything I want w/ no contract or extra fees, but if I run out of minuites for the month, I have to buy $25 more or wait till the next month. it's all rollover too.
