I can't thank each and every one of you enough for the concern and caring comments you have made. I read every one of them and they were a lot of comfort.

Today was one of the hardest days of my life. Scooter didn't die in her sleep as I thought she might, and in fact this morning was fairly alert, but she was also bleeding very badly again. I took her to a local cat hospital and they took xrays and called me back a little while ago. To sum it up, she is a very sick little cat. They don't know if it is kidney failure, or some form of cancer, etc. What they would have to do is lot's of workups and a blood transfusion, and even at that he doesn't feel she is strong enough to make it through all of that.

So I had to make a decision that was the toughest one I have had to make in a long time. After calling my Son's for their advice, and praying, I called them back and told them I have to let her go. I just don't want her to suffer any more, that would be very selfish of me. She deserves to go in peace.

Right now I'm pretty broken up, but it means so much to me that I had all of you to help me through this. Each time one of you would post some similar tragedy it hurt me deeply because I am an animal lover like most of you. It is so hard to let go.
