These guys are looking for investors! Hello! Why does it have to be people in other countries making this stuff. Here's a chance for one of the big three to step up to the plate, invest is a sure money maker! This gives the water system we've been talking about a new twist! My cousin just bought a smart car for his retirement vehicle. He's pretty environmentally aware, when I asked about the gas milage in the Smart car, he said, think outside of the box. This car can fit in a car space on the side of the street, parked sideways. He maintains it not just gas, but space! Interesting! I'd fear for my life driving one down the 101 to work. People are into their big cars and trucks/SUV's here, so I'm waiting for a commuter that incorperates a little protection from the avaerage, "I'm on the cell phone and didn't see him" mentality. But with gas at 4.50 a gallon going upward, we soon will need to get a different vehicle to do our commutes(50 miles a day). Thanks for the thread, these alternatives give me hope!
P.S. I'll still keep the 48 F1 with the 429! Gotta stretch the legs every once in a while! " "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve. "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Wasn’t there some controversies over that either the US didn’t want too accept it or give it back? My memory is short but I believe there was some bickering over it.

The controversies came from Wal Mart, K-Mart & Target, they didn't like the blister pack they came in, they kept falling off the hook when people sorted through them to see what color was behind the one in front. Interesting little car; the main important feature is the four seats! It looks to me that the roof line could be chopped about 2", having seen some of the amazing body work on this Forum. Maybe someone could come up with Olds Fiesta spinner hub caps as an aftermarket accessory? However, even early VW sedans are getting rare and try to find a Vega, so twenty years is a long time unless the anticorrosion coating is good? Note that this also implies Indian and Chinese folks will soon be having automobiles for the first time. That means more world wide fuel demand!
