    Phoenix Az help

I am tracing the history on a car I am restoring and I know for a fact that it was purchased new in Phoenix, Az. and I am narrowing it down to which dealership it came from. Can anyone tell me the name of the Chevrolet dealerships that were in Phoenix around 1967?

    I can't help. I'm in Tucson.

I would just call the current dealers...they'll know.

Rudolph Chevrolet and Lou Grubb were the Biggies and probably the only ones who were authorized at that time. Grubb's worked for Rudolpu until 66 or there about and opened his own. What are you needing? VIN stuff maybe or? Everybody else seemed to handle Fords and VW.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

I wasn't here at the time, but Courtesy Chevrolet seems to have been around forever, they have a real nostalgic looking sign.

Yeah...I'm 99% positive that Courtesy opened up in 1955.

    Phoenix Chevrolet Dealer

Midway Chevrolet was around and was located at that time off Grand Ave. I worked for them in 1970 for a while doing a wholesale battery route.

Thanks to everyone for your help.
The car I own is a 1967 SS427 Impala converible. I have talked to the origional owner 20 years ago but have lost his name and contact info and can't recall his name. The origional owner was the Service Manager of teh Chevrolet dealer and special ordered this car. He said that this was the only SS 427 Impala conv. sold in Arizona. FYI the car is Butternut Yellow

nitrowarrior - Rudolph Chevrolet sounds a little familiar.

This is a huge long shot but does anyone have any Service Mgr's names or ideas how I might narrow my search a little more?
