Grew up with them, have them down a couple blocks , I wish they would bring the turkey burgers back.
We use to go to grandpa's for X-mass & dinner @ about 2:00, then later on we would get sliders to eat, 30 kids plus all the parents, 3-4 each, thats a lot of sliders to buy each time.

I don't know if they put the holes in it to cook qwicker, or let the grease run out!

White Castles= good stuff. ....till later.

No sliders here in E. Tenn. Grew up eating them in N.W. Indiana, sure do miss em!!! Anytime we make a trip up north (or see them anywhere) we stop! We have "Krystals" here, and no matter WHAT anybody tells you, they are NOT anything like White Castles! First time I ate them I got sick!!!

Hey guys! Stopped off for gas up the road in Indiana from Louisville swap meet two weeks ago, and low and behold a white castle. Problem was the area had a snowstorm the day before and no one showed up for work...no sliders for me! I'll keep on the wal mart frozens until I get back down to St. Louis for more.

Don Sam's has 'em frozen in Family size boxes. Way too easy to chomp down a six pack or eight of those babies.

I used to live in Alton Ill. the castle was only a jump away.!!!!!!
Now sadly I live in cali ...land of the frozen white castles....
Its just not the same frozen........but close enuff..........Cali want a castle ,all the food joints here ,why aint we got no castle.....
I used to work in the inner city in St.louis and when lunch came around our dark skinned friends used to give us a hard time about going there ........I bet you all are going to that "white"castle aint ya.......
.....maybe white castle is a offensive name to some....?
It cant be any worse than, In and Out,I mean c-mon ,thier slogan is In and Out ,thats what hamburger is all about......................
My friends from St.Louis were hesitant to eat there from the name alone,I guess I made it worse ,by giving them a wierd look and asking them ......you wanna little In and Out...dont ya
Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Did the water scare ya away???

As for IN & OUT Burgers, when we were out there I always looked at the wife and ask if she wanted a little "In & Out" and normally I'd get punched .......

    Good burgers though............joe
