Well it made it to 70 degrees F here today and in the creek down the hill the peeper frogs were chirping so I gues it is (early) Spring in Central Va, but don't hang up your overcoat yet, we had snow the day before Easter last year. Anyway the garage should be warmer now! Since most of what I do on the roadster is the first time for me, I spend a lot of time just looking over the situation and measuring so it can be bone chilling below 50 degrees F and I will wait untill I get a few days in the 60s before getting back under the car to fit the D-bar for the steering.

Hoping to get my truck stripped down and painted...you know the saying about the mechanic whose car doesn't run...the painter whose truck can't get painted!!! Got some cool news saturday too. The owner of the vette dragcar I did was in and we were talking about the car he was helping drop off, 68 Chevelle dragcar...anyway, I was saying how I'd love a chance to drive something FAST! He says, "come on out to one of the test and tune nights, pay your $10 and I'll let you run the wagon"! The "wagon" is an early 80's fullsize chevy, with a bigblock, bigtires and full chassis, runs 6.60's in the 1/8th!!! You KNOW I'm all over that!!!! So...I hope to maybe persue some of that action! Hoping the cars continue coming in so we will be busier this year with the new building too. Thats all I got.
If its not worth doing right, its not worth doing... Donny, MaxxMuscle Custom Painting
