    Interesting piece, Jakashh, can you still find ammo for that 7.62 - or do you have to use hand loads? I've got my Dad's old Arisaka 6.5 Jap that he brought back from Korea and we can still find ammo for it but it's a little pricey.

    Yes, they still make new 7.62x54r. You can buy some brown bear SP's and FMJ's at gander mountain for about $14-$16 for 20 rds, or you can find the same thing online for $8, or you can buy it in bulk cans of about 400-500 rds leftover from a few decades ago for a nice price online, like this. 440 rds for $90

    Those arisaka's are fairly expensive compared to a mosin that you can buy for about $80 online or at gander mountain for about $100 to $130, but they sure are nice!



    and HOSS, that's a nice daytona coupe! i never paid much attention to them, but i'm starting to like the looks of them more.
