great event today .. as usual my buddy harve ( the billy gibbons looking dude) has created a new toy .. the road to the church is being done away with so the church is going to have to rotate 180 degrees and face the opposite direction in the near future .. i`ve a dozen or pics to post in the following week..

i have no idea where he came from .. finally after many years i just got pulled over by trooper taylor who lives down the street from me ..i had just did a burn out for some kids at the local watering hole and i promise i had no idea he was around ,, he gave me a stern tounge lashing and said he`d been trying to catch me forever .. he actually let me go in a show of mutual respect .. i reminded him that i had bought his wifes old car a few years ago for my crazy girlfriend and that his teenage son likes my car .. he said he liked it too but do not ever hot rod in his area again .. yes sir i said ..didn`t have a camera at the time ..

more gum springs .. is that a red white and blue bean way off in the background .. every car show i attend folks ask me to enter my stuff .. i have no desire to .. i dont want to give 20 bucks or so .. be compelled to sit 6 hours in the heat in a chance that i mite win a 3 dollar throphy .. if they`d let me .yes i would park on the front row for the duration of my visits .. usually about an hour to walk about and get a few pics and see people i know ..lots of shows in the area suffer from low attendance .. allowing some of us to park and not participate mite inflate their future interest ..

I have an old hotwheels car that looks just like that one, but it's glossy purple, no flames, and has giant sidepipes that in real life, would restrict the door from opening.

this thing came in thumping hard several of us were trying to guess the engine size ,, i said 460 at least .. popped the hood on a tiny 289 ,, i dont know why the truck went away .. here`s another look

went to the tomatoe market today .. saw these critters standing by the door .. freon pigs .. shovell chickens .. not sure what the other critter is .. they sell for 30 bucks .. i could easily do those things if i had the magination

incredible hot this time of year in north bama but spectacular clouds every day ,,

this ruff looking old fellow is so much more than meets the eye .. drives his car around about 30 mph all day long .. lives with most everything he owns in it .. a much decorated military vet ,, speaks 5 foreign languages fluently .. has met 5 presidents .. is constantly advising local government officials ..he stops and talks to me every time he sees me walking ..

finally spilt a bit of paint on my truck .. now just have to top coat the rest in white and add some kind of stripe .. maybe tomorrow if i feel like it

Hey Hoss that is so interesting about that gentleman,goes to show one shouldn't judge a book by it's cover,as the real person inside maybe totally different. I enjoy this thread that you started as some of the stuff is interesting even for us way down on the lower side of earth, keep it going Hoss and also your Rust in Peace one. One other thing..... I would shed a tear to hear a Chev die in the woods....

thank you whiplash i try to post stuff interesting .. if it`s not interesting to me then i presume it`s not to other folks either .. sometimes i dry up for a spell but something always comes up in due time .. iv`e shot a little more black on my truck .. i guess i`m doing it backwards but when i top coat it white i will mask off the black into some kind of stripe .. i`m def out of spraying practice .. iv`e got more sags than a 90 year old grandma . but luckily this " glossy " paint will turn flat black in a few months /. i`m not sure why .it`s the same stuff on my stang hood ..

You just keep posting these little bits and pieces,Hoss,its always interesting,especially to us guys down here..

as neat as this thing looks in my opinion that cab just looks too cool to be a rat rod ..should have put the bed and front sheetmetal back on ..just would look better stock
