My aunt gave me my late Uncles' Grandfathers gun. It's a pump action winchester 22. Haven't had a chance to fire it yet. I like to shoot my 7.62 x 54 cal Mosin Nagant Finnish rifle. It's dead nuts acurrate, cheap to fire, but has a hell of a kick. I'm good for 4 shoots before I start to twitch anticipating the recoil. For hand gun the goverment colt shoots well for me. I ran into an old timmer who was running a competition course with his Glock 9mm. He kept hitting slightly off to the lower left when he shot. The instructor looked at his hands, gave him a colt 45 to rerun the course. He beat everyone there that day. Turns out his hands are too big for the light small glock, but worked great with the wider grip heavier colt. I learned a lesson from him, went to a range with a buddy with lots of hand guns, and the colt commander was great! With my old Berreta 9mm, I was a losy shot. I went to buy a colt commander only to find out the aren't sold in Ca as new guns, haven't been drop tested so they are illegal. You can buy a used one, but hard to find, so I got the new Government Colt, and wow! Shoots great, not me, it ! It's like being a natural when you find the right weapon!
Sorry for the life story, here is a pic of the Winchester 1909 22. I just love the look of it!
