sportized G33/40 in 243 cal. and a browning made in belguim light 12. also a browning bl-22. I do not hunt but hubby is a collector.

This is my favorite .............. Colt AR-15A1 (SP 1) ............ have always loved the feel of this gun (and its military brother, the M-16)

Stay away from mid range cartridges like the 5.56 and 7.62 unless you're just playing around with prairie dogs or similar small game.

I'm sure that you know that the .30-06, .30-30, .308, .300 Win Mag, and most all .30 cal rifles are 7.62. Not much need to stay away from that caliber.

I like the Pig, but only if there's a big guy to carry ammo.

Have way too many guns...

have 357 and 44 mag. but must have this gun S&W .50MAG Pistol

ive always like marlins pre 40's bolt action .22's ive shot a few and they are stout accurate guns. fun for varmits to for me nothing feels like an old millitary rifle. i mean my 1917 is 91 years old. i always like stuff like that because it has a soul to bad it couldnt talk huh? my buddy just picked up a 1910 mauser pistol so thats the new conversation piece ha. as far as handguns go im looking into a .45 either springfield or rock island. i am a nostalgia when it comes to pretty much anything except bell bottoms!?

Game hunting I use my Parker-Hale Mauser in .308 Norma magnum, Nothing that lives on Earth can stand up to a well-placed round from one of those. Varmints get a dose of .222 from a Savage O/U, with a 20 Guage barrel underneath for backup. Also have a 1914 Enfield in .303 Brit, and a Lee-Enfield cut down to carbine size for packing in the bush.

Stovens---Love those lil' 22's! My brother has an original, I have a South American copy, both are dandys! Hold the trigger back and pump out a tube of shells in a few seconds!

Henry and Denny I'm talking about the famed 7.62x39 which ain't got it at longer range. 5.56mm same story. It's case is 45mm long and it's reduced caliber. A 7.62 x 54 is a full power cartridge as is the Mauser 8 x 57 (the 7.92mm rounded up) You 308/30-06 Springfield round has a 63mm case. The problem isn't the caliber its the weak cartridges- anything measured in the 30-45mm case length.

The 7.62x39 Has killed more People then any other Cartridge in the world . That is what it was made for and used in SKSs and AK47s and more . And it can do this at up to 100 Yards . That's what the VCs used and every other bad guy's after them ! The 5.56 Nato now called SS109 223 Round is USA shot back Cartridge . It also has killed lot's of bad guy's

yeah with one of them slow bbc's put a nice fast 283 in it it'll run 10's
