You gotta set the prop just like the instructions. I think it works out to 1 and 7 o'clock. Kinda awkward but if you slap down and thru you get a lot of velocity (rpm) out of the slap. I think it takes about 400 rpm to generate enough spark for these Zenoahs.
Excellent idea for the tie out. I always use one. Don't trust a helper....they can crush things easily and will panic if something goes wrong. Most fields here require them (tie outs).
The G-38 can probably pull up to 18-20 pounds so be careful. I use a nylon 1 inch wide horse lunge that I used to use for dog training.. I think it is rated at about 1000 pounds. 20 footer.
If you really want an electric starter this place makes one with real "Zoot".
