HemiT....cool plane and motor display. Is that twin with the yellow mouth a Tartan?? I see a G-38 there too.

It a small world. I flew at Tri Valley years ago in the 70's and 80's. If you were around then I flew a pair of big pattern twins. Orange and white. Plus a handfull of Dirty Birdy's and Arrows. Made my own fuel hi nitro stuff haha. I blew up motors like top fuel guys. I was quite an outlaw at the time. I was also a member of 3M when they had the field out by Cimmeron next to the golf course. I also flew a few times at Sodbusters in the early days. We may have crossed paths.

I moved south and flew the Corsair all over down south. I have a 2 inch thick log book of every flight. I gave it to my son to fly up here which he did. Got an offer to sell it I couldn't turn down.

I'm back (look out and just an older outlaw) and my son and I are building a 118" B-25. I'm going to finish the new scale exhaust on the Ziroli P-51 with 5.8 Precision Eagle. We are laying out new Corsair too. It's going to be a big building season this winter.

tow'd A little tip I got when I first got the Zenoah. I flipped that prop untill I was blue. I called a buddy and he said you have to kinda slap it like you were mad at it. Oh boy I was ready for that!!! I went back outside and slapped that thing about twice and it was running. From then on it's me and Zenoah. I say "listen you....I'm the master here and don't you forget it. And by the way just to remind you here is a good slap." Viola it runs every time. It's man vs. machine you just gotta show it who is the master. haha
