I just discovered this thread. I have seen Russel's Model-A. It's rough in spots, but it's better than the one I started with. I'm anxious to see it come together. With his welding skills, he could build a frame a lot cheaper than what the Boling Bros frame costs. I have the plans and drawings of my '31 if he wants them.
Roger - My Track-T had homemade coil overs on the front and quarter-elliptic leafs in the rear. That car is in Texas now. I used torsion bars in 4 different cars of mine so far plus I duplicated them in two other cars for friends. The first set was a pair of rear torsion bars out of a Volkswagen Beetle that I used in the front of my first C-Cab delivery. After that I switched to the front torsion bars out of Nissan hardbody pickups. I used them in my second C-Cab, two friends' cars, my "31 Model-A coupe, and now in my '32 3-window. Will there be more? Who knows..?Jim
