Feels like we're finally getting somewhere on the kitchen. I bought one of those Froth Pac 200 foam kits from Menards to seal up the exterior walls good and proper. No mater how much bat insulation you put in, air seems to always find a way around it. I put that on about an inch thick and then put 6 inch bat insulation over that. The wind is howling about 35-40 mph today and I can't feel a draft anywhere. We also insulated the kitchen ceiling too cause in a few more years we won't be needing to heat the upstairs when the youngest goes to college. Most of the wiring is finished, and we also started putting the ceiling on today which is taking longer than I hoped. Kari is going to paint that the color of her choosing when it's in then it off to putting ship lap on the walls. The new cupboards are in the shed and I got notified that my floor and doors are in as well but it will be a bit before they go in.
