Yes, the under cabinet lights are great when preparing food. We also put lights above the cabinets and put plastic tiles on the ceiling to cover the old cracked plaster. The only light in the kitchen that isn't LED is the bulb in the oven, so when they're all on it's only pulling about 150 watts.

i love me some walnut .. i know where just about every walnut tree is within a 5 mile radius of me anywho back 45 years ago when i worked in a cabinet shop we made a 4 posted walnut bed for a lady in California .. it was Polly Holliday ..
