Some shots to the door weatherstripping in place. Also "Daniel the Pinstriper," put the finishing touches in pinstripes on the car. Daniel kept it very simple with the end tips and signed the work for us. He recommended the stripes match the interior color which he did a fantastic job with.

Went by Summit Racing store in Arlington Texas today. I was very impressed in the displays, the layouts, and the technical prowess of the staffs. I overheard one tech explaining to another how the ring gaps should be set when building the internals for NOS. The entire group seemed dedicated to understanding what they were selling. I did not go out to buy anything but it occurred to me if you were working out technical solutions for your build, an afternoon walking through on of their showrooms would be time well spent.

I'll have to make it a point to visit one of their showrooms. Looks interesting.

FWIW - That display with the 3x2 setup is pretty much exactly what the 383 I had in my '46 looked like. The only difference was that mine had Rochesters and that one looks to be Holleys. I had Obrien Truckers air cleaners that looked just like those and Edelbrock valve covers. 3x2's run much better than most people would think and look fantastic.

We decided to undercoat the front fenders since I plan to drive the shit out of the car. We felt the undercoating would be more durable. Also still tying up small details such as the front fender mounting bolts and the window whiskers.

Those under dash lights work really well by the looks of it. I like the hood prop rod. You've got to be itching to take it home don't ya?
