I think they're getting thick everywhere. They are really running around now because they got kicked out of the corn fields due to the harvest, their also getting hunted and the Bucks are horny and looking for some action right now. The deer don't seem to have a preference on what vehicles they ruin. Sounds like you got pretty lucky with yours.
