06 Trailblazer reboot ( stupid deer )
Here we go again, 900 miles since the first fix. Christian hit a deer on the way to school this morning, That 3 deer now, Ram-1, my mothers Buick - 2, Trailblazer-3. This is all since Saturday. I'm not going to touch it though, this is why I have insurance. Everybody grab a weapon and shoot a deer tonightSeth

Man, that's a bad deal. I shouldn't say this but I haven't seen any running at night on my way home from work lately. (I hope I'm not reporting of smacking one tomorrow)Ryan

I daily drive a 1992 Suzuki Carry pickup ( Japanese domestic market tiny truck ). It's 1,500 lbs and a cab over. If I hit a deer, it would not only total the truck I'd probably get hurt bad or worse.. And the Deer are running now since it's hunting season. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

We never used to even consider running into a deer, but some 5 years ago they moved back into the area and now I can't think of anyone who hasn't hit a deer or knows someone who's hit one. I've had one run into the side of my car! One moment he's standing along the edge of the road , so I swerve to the middle of the road only to see him bolt into the road. But my car was already there! He caught the right rear quarter just in front of the brake light lens... the car had barely 2 thousand miles on it! Sigh... It was a glancing blow - no real damage but you could see fine scratches..

I think they're getting thick everywhere. They are really running around now because they got kicked out of the corn fields due to the harvest, their also getting hunted and the Bucks are horny and looking for some action right now. The deer don't seem to have a preference on what vehicles they ruin. Sounds like you got pretty lucky with yours.Seth

Well to be as brief as I can the first shoot of color looked good but when I started spraying the clear I discovered all these paint flakes on the hood and back of cab. The 3m plastic sheeting I was...
