I haven't updated this one as I have not participated in maybe 2 years.. but I grabbed a pic to share with ya'll. Hopefully I can get the pic to load "straight" , this will be the third attempt and if it goes or not.. it is what it is!

And I was asked to help out on this one this winter. It'sa real deal 33 Ford Coupe, it was owned by the father of the current owner. He (the son) disassembled it back in the early 80's and then lost interest. We went through high school together and he was married to one of my wife's best friend. I hadn't seen him probably in a couple decades but recently he pops up on my facebook page. So he asked me to wire it and help out here and there. Maybe it'll give me the inspiration I need to jump back on mine and work towards finishing some punchlist items... we'll see!

Your definition of "daily driver" and mine are quite different. LOL

My coupe has a stroked 302, now 347. And it can be a handful when the go pedal is squashed. I can't imagine what a dual quad 454 will do to that old girl! I've actually known the car far longer than I've known the son. His father was friends with a neighbor of ours growing up. This car has had every popular engine /trans combo in it. Buicks, Pontiacs, Olds, Chevy small and big... name it and it's probably been in those frame rails. Of course, all those mods have taken a toll and the scars show aplenty.. But, it'll be fun to work on one of my hero's cars. A certain kind of full circle.

Good Grief that think looks out of balance

If we're speaking of the 33, the picture doesn't help. I played with the height and width to get them to "sit square" and straight in the post. SO it looks a bit wonky.. and the duals are really high. I can't imagine trying to look around them and drive it! LOL
