Jim, I'm really glad it all went well and you are doing better! Did you end up selling the wife's ride?

Nah! I put a real high number on it figuring everyone was going to low ball the hell out of it and they did just that. One guy offering $16K for it. I told him he was wasting both our times. Then he bumped it up an extra $200 so I just blocked him. Hell a roller with nothing is $16,800! I'd take $30K for it. You could never build it for that, that's for sure. After driving it for a little while she has decided she wants something with a back seat. Personally I think she is nuts! I absolutely love that car and wish I fit in it because it wouldn't go anywhere if it was mine. Just watching it go down the road and the way other people snap their necks as it drives by...(sigh) I mean, doesn't everyone want a 32 ford 3 window? It has the stance, the look, the sound, and even the smells of a hot rod (exhaust & new interior smells). It kinda drives me nuts that she wants to sell it especially after all the work we did to it but you know what they say...Happy wife=Happy life.

Still have it. Hopefully will be working on it this winter. Unless we get pounded this winter. I have heat in the garage but on very cold windy days it's almost impossible to keep it warm enough to work. It's not like that all the time but if it dips down to single digits and gets very windy the heat has trouble keeping up.
