The Doctor knew I was nervous about the procedure so I think he was just having some fun at my expense. His assistant never did come back till after we were all done.

Back update: I'm now 13 weeks out of work and I am happy to say I have all the feeling back in my legs and the back pain is gone...well for the most part. I still have some lower back pain across the whole lower back. I have had that for years now but the sciatic nerve pain and the numbness in my legs is all gone. Looks like that shot worked. While I was well on my way to feeling better in the back department, I figured it was a good time to have another needed small surgical procedure last week and that went well. The Doctor has released me for work detail starting Monday. I can't wait to get back to work and start playing catch up with the bills. Thanks for all the well wishes. Now maybe I can get back to car fun.
