    Yes, the stainle$$ plugs are for the coreplug holes... I think they need a thicker o-ring, and maybe a little more crush, but they claim they have not had any issues. I will modify if I need to.

    Got all of the pistons in, timing cover on, oil pump on after some main cap nut & washer massaging.

    Yes, had to remove about 0.030" to 0.040" to ensure it cleared the op adapter sleeve.

    Turned it in the lathe?? Curious how you held it. Expanding arbor or a simple bolt/stud?

    Lathe; the 12 point nut chucked up and run true, so I cut it. It isn't a critical measurement, so TLAR accuracy works...

    Are you aware that the V6/small block timing chain tensioner will fit the early Hemi with very little modification? I put one on my 331. They are a nice addition.
