Making progress. It's on stands which explains high stance.

This should be the bright pic.

Stripe or scallop on the hood is the same as the one on the side. Looks white in the pic for some reason. Sorry for the wrong pic, don't know how I did that.

I think I'm going the gasser route. This thing would make a cool gasser, so I've listed the rear end, wheels and tires with some other stuff on CL. I used to lust over them in Hotrod when I was a kid. Nothing like changing your mind. Hopefully sometime in spring I'll have it road worthy. Stay tuned.
