Nothing like getting a pile of parts back all within 3 days.
All three shops called on the same day
The Caddy 425 block was deck, bored 30 over, crank turned, heads rebuilt w/new seats & valves and an Edelbrock intake.. 400 trans was rebuilt w/a shift kit & the 8.8 rear end was rebuilt w/new bearings, a posi and brakes.
It's slowly coming together & I have 98% of all the parts.
Now I just hope the guy who said he'd put it together for me can & still will or I'll be on the hunt for someone else to do it for me. Can anyone recommend someone or a shop in the St Louis area that has reasonable rates just in case my help can't do the work????.....joe
