Really nice car, outstanding work. I do think it's a shame to cover up that beautiful hemi though.

That turned out really mice!!!!
.
MICE?? I thought Hemi's were known as an Elephant? **):whacked::D
I know, I know... fat fingers!
Yeah yeah, take the key board away from the old guy with bad fingers and eyes.
Think that's bad wait till I have surgery on my wrist next week.:LOL:
.
Better than ratty...…..……….
v8nutz, I just may pull the whole hood off next summer as I also
like to show off the Hemi!
No Rat's Bob! LOL
I replaced the Thrush 3 1/2" OD glass packs with Magna Flow 5" x 8" stainless mufflers.
The thrush were too loud, these are much better. Still loud though ! LOL
I used that template to figure out the largest muffler that would fit. I still had
to make alum heat shields to mount to frame to protect gas, and brake lines.

Yes hemi's should be seen for sure, engine art. I like magnaflow's sound, have them on my v8 miata and now using Jone's copy cats on my stude. They have that nice glass pack sound without all the noise.
I haven’t added to this build log in quite a while. The posts I have made are from a hospital bed. I had been slated for a new technology using special valves inserted in the lung for a non surgical lung reduction. A scheduled lung scan revealed a large mass growing in my left upper lung node. April 17, they operated on me ,and cut out the
Tumor with most of the upper node. The good news is no cancer, the bad news is they
Could not get the surgery site to quit leaking air. The drugs given during the operation shutdown all my organs which took several more procedures to resolve. I’ve been home twice but ended up in the ER after a couple days both times. Stomach ulcer bled out a month ago requiring 4 units of blood. I was finally released to a rehab center since I wasn’t able to care for my self. I lasted a week there , sent to local hospital ER with pneumonia, and afib. A week in ICU, and I’m back at rehab. I’ve lost over 30 pounds through all this.
This rehab is like a small hospital, couldn’t ask for a better place to be. They have really turned things around for me. My tentative release date is August 11. I’m near my family here which is so much better than all that time in Chicago. It’s been a rough road, but the end is in sight , I’m doing well now. Still some summer left to drive that Coupe
To a few shows, and cruises !

Wow, sorry to hear about your rough go with health, I'm glad your getting better though.
Glad to hear that there's a plan to get home soon and re-engage!
Glad to hear you are recovering! 2 little pieces of unsolicited advice that are probably the hardest things for most of the people here to follow.
Don't push too hard too fast.
Ask for help when you need it.
Good to see you back on the site. :D
.
Mike: you’re advice is right on the mark, I’ve had
To learn exactly that!
Rich
Holy cow Rich! I'll second what Mike said. You've really given yourself a workout there. Recovery will probably be slower than you like/wish but give it time and your best shot.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop Rich. I can only echo all the good advice above me.
Nice to see your posting.
