X2, here comes the payoff for all that hard work.
looking good bam . i will be starting on my 55 big window this winter hopefully .
I like the contrast and dig the raw aluminum look against that green! Very nice!
Thanks to everyone for the comments, likes, and encouragement. Its greatly appreciated. I'm really excited at this point of the build (putting it back together) its really going to be nice to start this engine with it between the frame rails. I got home yesterday and the exhaust kit was on the front porch. I need a couple of other things but I'm looking and thinking about how I want to configure the exhaust.
Looks great. Damn it's fun when you can bolt on shiny new parts to stay.
I ordered the pipes from hooker to bolt on the manifolds. They maybe were a bit expensive for what they were but they fit perfect and had the 02 bungs in them already. I don't mind paying a little extra if I'm happy with it. The sound deaden-er is worth every bit of money and time. Make sure to do the inside of the doors also, it makes a day and night difference. I love the color!
I started working on the exhaust. I got it about half way done. I stopped at where I will be connection the second half of the exhaust with marman v-band flanges.
Any way these are the components I used.
