Funny how stuff can sneak up on you. The National Street Rod Assoc. was founded in 1970. The parties involved wanted to create a terminology that implied they represented rods driven on the street since rods driven at the track were represented by an organization named National Hot Rod Assoc. How times have changed in near 50 years.
