Thanks, Just installed a serpentine belt system (Vintage Air) vice the 3 belt system. a lot cleaner look but it's very tight between rad and fan. I'll post a pic later. I wish I was smart enough to understand all the EFI stuff with the Holley Sniper I have installed. It runs ok but I know it could be better.

After my initial sniper install I took it to an experienced tuner. Over the Holley learned tune we picked up over 50 rear wheel horsepower and about 2 mpg. One of the biggest improvements I had made on my own was rechecking the tune setup program where I found several parameters were not right. Nothing beats building it from the ground up.

Have you tried their tech service offerings? They have a online group and I know they have good call center. Even if you just called them to say, "Hey' I need some help with this" I'm sure they can give you some tips. I think RSpears had some good results from his interactions with a call center. Consider giving it a try.

My experience was with Edelbrock, in their early days of DIY EFI and they were great, very helpful! I've heard mixed reviews on experiences with Holly & the Sniper, seems some love it and some not so much. I'd agree, if you can find a really good tuner in your area they can help dial in the maps and getting your base parameters for the self learn defined right.Last edited by rspears; 09-30-2022 at 02:12 PM. Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
