I always liked my little details that shine from 1959 to 60 I added these, like ones I don't see on other rods much are my fav.s,seems there is a lot more stuff now to pick from,vs make your own like back when I first built my rod. There are some great things ya can buy,but I'm still low buck builder at hart. I got a lot of cleaning, painting and polishing still to do,but a pic or two of my old details maybe fun to see. The brake air scoops are made from old stop sign, there is still some stop sign paint on the inside,I like it and leve it there. Chrome was hard to comeby but polishing stuff was only my time and I always love shiney stuff,my kingpins are topped off with some extra shine by the 50cents I added to them=needs some polish now but what better way,I did the same thing to my tierod ends but used 25cent with grease zert in center, they were brand new coins back then.
