Nice. I have so many leaves it is crazy. I filled my yard waste can 3 times this spring and have 2 big garbage bags full now. That was after I mulched them with the mower too.

Is your toy away due to the hot season or? We are just coming into prime weather and soon it will be hot and humid. I finally got the blower motor put in the mini van and the AC works so I'm excited about that. Now to put a new AC line on the excursion, and maybe I'll have a vehicle to drive with operational AC for the first time in about 6 years.

    Ummm...
Just be aware that grass clippings can lead to a low soil pH, (they're very sour,) if you use them over an extended period it would pay to lime heavily to reduce the acidity.
    Just a thought.

Thanks Mike, it was! We went to a great steak house called Rube's. You get to pick your steak/veggie/shrimp or scallops/ and grill them yourself on their charcoal huge grills. It was the best steak I have had in a long time. I can't wait to go back there.

Now the 72 has steering again. I'm going to have to steal the steering arm off my 76 though. The new drag link uses Chevy D60 tie rod ends which are a different taper than the dodge style. So, it's either buy a reamer at $75 or more, get a tie rod adapter bushing for $10 and drill and weld this arm, or just rob the one from my 76 for free fifty. Luckily, the 76 won't need this piece as I have the parts to put cross over steering on it. Win win. I did drive the truck around town so that is a bit satisfying.

That's kinda funny that you went out for steaks. I planed on going out for steaks and my wife said she would drive cause it was my birthday. I thought perfect, we'll go to Sioux City for steaks and then to Harbor Freight and get another 44 inch tool box cause my old Craftsman drawers are falling out. A few hours later in the afternoon I thought, how about just to Sioux Falls and then to Menards to get some things on my list for the house. A few hours later I thought, Maybe just go uptown and have a steak there. A few hours later after my shower I said, how about we just get some Caseys Pizza. At 42 the energy goes away

Kinda funny as I told my wife that for my birthday that I want to go find the biggest steak dinner in the area and eat myself sick! Just because!!

Congrats on the truck progress. Always a satisfying feeling when you get to tool around in a ride you built.

I finally got the GM steering arm swapped on the LH knuckle. I relieved some of the fins on the diff cover because the tie rod bar was hitting it and not allowing full steering lock to lock. It's much better now. I have roughly a month to get a laundry list of stuff done on it so it can be taken to Power Tour. I'm planning on taking my 95 F350 since I told my brother and his wife they could take this.

The old truck got put right to work. I hauled 2 loads of junk/garbage in to the land fill, and took another load of stuff out of the garage trying to clean up and make room.

I'd still like it to be the 40 but I doubt it will be ready for it. There's still so much to do and 29 days isn't much at 2hrs per day if I'm lucky. Now, if I had 29 vacation days and an open checking account, it would be ready. I'm still shooting for July to have it drive able.
