Be great if we had a metal shaping class nearby that went into depth on what it really is . I have seen so much on it and restoration on parts that no longer exist . I have a good idea but would like to get my hands on with a master shaper .

Every fall, Metalmeet.com holds a week long metal meet in Oblong ,IL. Looks to be about 4 hours south of you. Last time I went, the cost was 100 bucks.

There is also Allmetalshaping.com. There are regional meets going on all the time. I just hosted one in Toronto a few weeks ago.

Check out these two sites and you can learn a lot.
