The rear looks like a great fit , so the rubber and wheels should be a easy go for you . This is one nice custom you are putting together .

Looking great Randy, i like the edgeing you put along the bottom of the body, makes it more interesting. Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

It really is shaping up very well. You should enjoy having some extra room in there to carry stuff and also for more leg room.

It seems that way. There have been quite a few bubble top cars built (like Atomic Punk) recently, and Steve L is building his T coupe in the spirit of the 60's show rods. I also understand vans from the 60's are making a comeback. Everything old is new again.I guess what happens is that each generation builds their dream cars from their youth as they get older and have enough money to do it.

I remember seeing the Beatnik Bandit in the 60's, and I loved it then and still consider it my favorite of all the show cars ever

Great... I can't wait to see it... I was going to do this one out of glass, But went with the steel...
I only hope your right about the show rods...I hate going to the world of wheels... No more true Show rides.. Not here anyway.. That is why I went with this build.. I'm hoping to hit all the big show's with it..But not to sure if it will happen that way... To many people are telling me to name my price...Set no Limit's on yourself !!!!

im only 26 but i love the show rods from the golden age! Roth, dann woods. If i had the money id have a shed full now.
Id love to build the c-cab form carbon fibre with modern tech but 60's styling cues.
Not sure about over there but it seems rods are becoming tamer than those days. most cars are based on original styled bodies rather than one off styles-apart from your c-cab we can see here- thats pretty wild.Take Your Rod Out And Play With It!
