VERY NICE. I've been wanting to build a woody and you are giving me incentive to get to it. So far, all of mine exist in my mind .... it looks real good there.

I just discovered this thread... Here are pics of my C-Cabs (below). They were built of 3/8" plywood over a 2 x 2 skeleton and then glassed all over. The chassis were basic T-bucket style with the rear section lengthened. I used coil springs in the rear and torsion bars up front. I built the "beerwagon" in 1975-76, drove the wheels off it, and sold it in 1984. It is in Huntsville, Alabama now and is black with flames. The blue car I built in 1988 - 1990, sold it in 1996. Last I knew of it, it was in Miami, FL. Both cars had 96" wheelbase, but the blue car's body was 2" longer (added into the doors to improve legroom). There were 9 cars built from my original plans; 7 all pretty much alike, one pickup truck, and one that was longer, wider, and taller to accommodate a big guy.

I really like the rounded corners on your body and the diamond theme carried throughout. The recessed area around the back doors with the Caddy taillights below and the motor mounts are my favorite parts. The deep cowl will certainly improve legroom which my cars lacked. Can't wait to see this one finished.

I personally like the look of the big photo's and that Chevy looks like a cool project. That T you are building for your friend looks cool too especially the upright screen.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

cheers its two pecies of plywood glued together to the shape I wanted then I used a 10mm 1/3 (or there abouts) foam over the top then marine vinyl the whole top then gets bolted down from the inside with T nuts through the wood this also seals the top

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
