    Thanks Steve and Don,I needed to have a laugh to lift me today and you both came through,well done. I'm with Don tho. just surprise her with the engine in the lounge and just promise her a new pair of shoes after the motors been rebuild. After all it is winter
    I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

    Forgot to put this pic up, Picked up a bit of stainless 3/8" hex bar so made some valve cover hold downs.



    Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

    Thank's alot.......... Tried out my new drill press today and made part of some bumper brackets with lightning holes. Just when I was pleased with myself, I came in and read this.............. If I wasn't so tired I'd just go chunk those brackets in the scrap pile....... Oh well, you keep me amazed. You sir are a Craftsman.

    Mate i would of bought the hold downs if i could have as they took me all afternoon to make & polish

    I used the Moon one's once but the chrome fell off them after 2 months.

    It's getting harder to find quality bits and pieces. Cheap chrome or sae threads and metric heads. But with your talent it's not as big a problem, except for the time, If you want it done right you just do it yourself. Always wanted to work in a machine shop just so I could learn to do stuff like that. I always have these great little ideas, but no equipment or knowledge to manufacture those little bits. The devil's in the details, and you sure have that covered..............

    Well they were made from some 1/4 bar stock, so they wern't hardned. Just somthing for some kind of nerf bumper. I haven't decided on what type just yet. I wanted to see if I could make the brackets like I have in mind first.
